Hard work and dedication sees Marner House achieve their accreditation

Huge congratulations are in order for our Marner House team, as the service has achieved Headway accreditation.

The brain injury rehabilitation service, which is located in Nuneaton, was assessed by Headway in a variety of areas to ensure they were in accordance to the charity’s standards.

The inspection, which took place in January, involved on-site visits, discussions with staff, family members, the people we support where possible as well as evaluating evidence such as how individuals at the service are involved with everyday living, review of therapy goals and more.

The team received amazing results in all areas, which can be see below:

Luke Suciava, Marner House Service Manager said: “I am so delighted! This accreditation is a reflection of a great deal of hard work on behalf of my team with a series of robust benchmarks having been achieved.

Units must demonstrate a series of benchmarks that improve and enhance the lives of those living with a brain injury as well as their families and carers.”

Janette Walker, Operations Manager was also thrilled to hear the news: “I am extremely gratified that the improvements I have seen at Marner House in my time as Operations Manager, have been reflected in this key accreditation that is both hard and well earned.

As a specialist brain injury service, we apply the most taxing standards upon ourselves to deliver the best care pathways and to have this work recognised by such a prestigious body is a reflection of the underlying principles of excellence, at Voyage Care.”
