Woolton Court is a supported living facility that can provide care and support for up to six people with a wide range of complex needs including acquired brain injuries, learning disabilities, mental health conditions and challenging behaviours. We also support autistic adults.
The people we support live in their own property and are assisted to live independently by staff and support workers.
Our home is just one mile from Wigan town centre where residents can enjoy a good variety amenities such as shops, restaurants, parks and leisure opportunities. Wigan College is very close by and individuals are encouraged to attend educational courses to develop their skillset and interests. There are also public transport links nearby for residents to access the wider community and additional activities.
Woolton Court is located in a quiet residential area in the heart of the community and consists of six two-bedroom houses next to one another. In between two of the houses, there is an on-site office for staff and provides a comforting base for residents. Each house has two bedrooms and a bathroom on the first floor and a spacious lounge/dining area, kitchen and toilet on the ground floor. Residents also have access to their own private back gardens.
Our staff are friendly, experienced and intuitive to the needs and wants of each individual. Staff are fully trained and are kept up to date with best practise and legislation to ensure the people we support receive great quality care at all times.
