At Suez Road, we provide support for individuals who have nursing and personal care needs.
We can support you to enjoy activities of your choice – this could include taking part in sports, going to the cinema or bowling or meeting up with friends.
We work closely with health professionals such as sensory services who will provide support in re-ablement and aids to make the little things in life easier, Community Nurses who provide support around therapy such as music therapy, one to one counselling sessions, training and awareness on Dementia. We also have close links with Adult Social Services and community support groups.
Here at Suez Road the residents are part of the 128’s with the former mayor of Cambridge John Woodhouse. We have excellent support given in the way of; music and dancing at the local village hall, caravan holidays to Great Yarmouth as well as donations such as games consoles. We also have very close links with St Martins Church opposite and another Voyage Care service down the road.
We can help you to find out about education and job opportunities in your area and support you through the application process. We can then help you to travel to and attend college or work, if you wish. We also have experience of supporting people to find somewhere to live, look after their home, find out what benefits they are entitled to and manage their money. We can put you in touch with landlords in your local area who may have vacant tenancies and can support you through each stage of applying for a tenancy and moving to your new home.
All of our staff are subject to appropriate checks and are given specialist training tailored. Our staff are experienced and very supportive – we can provide support to meet your needs, ranging from a few hours a week to 24 hours a day.
