Scotia House is a supported living property in Staffordshire and supports up to eleven adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and mental health needs.
All care is tailored around individual needs and the people we support are encouraged to be actively involved in developing their support needs.
Our home is based in just four miles from the city centre of Tunstall. There are a number of public transport links nearby that enable residents greater choice in accessing opportunities in the community.
Local amenities are within just walking distance of Scotia House and there is a leisure complex close by which offers the people we support plenty of access to activities.
Scotia House has eleven supported living flats all on the ground floor. Each flat is wheelchair accessible and its own private garden. There are two communal lounges for socialising with friends and neighbouring residents that are only accessible to the people we support at all times.
We offer communal activities and encourage individuals to engage in skill development with others.
We currently have a large staff team to suitably support all eleven residents at Scotia House. Staff are experienced and intuitive to the needs of the people we support and regularly undergo specialised training to ensure good knowledge of all conditions we cater for.
