Marlborough House is a supported living property that caters for up to eight adults living with a range of complex care needs including learning, physical and sensory disabilities.
Individuals at Marlborough House are supported to live an enriching and independent life whilst having access to care and support as and when needed.
Our house is located in a residential street close to Longton town centre where residents can find a number of local shops and amenities. There are good transport links nearby which offers the people we support plenty of opportunities to access leisure activities and day trips.
Individuals are encouraged to make a meaningful contribution to the local community to develop their social and living skill set.
Marlborough House is a single storey building made up of eight individual, ground floor flats. Each flat has a kitchen, a spacious lounge and bedroom with an en-suite bathroom.
The flats have been fully adapted for wheelchair access and each has underfloor heating, non -slip flooring in the bathroom and a lockable closet in the entrance hall to ensure safety and comfort at all times.
The property also has a large communal area for socialising and a secure shared garden which is accessible via the main building. There is a large carpark at the front of the building with spaces for eight cars.
All staff are fully trained with a great knowledge of the people we support, ensuring a person-centred approach that empowers the individual to voice their wants and needs. Each member of staff makes sure the people we support feel safe and comfortable whilst being intuitive to potential risks.
