Isleworth Resource Centre offers personalised support to people who have mild to profound learning and physical disabilities and, in some cases, mental health needs.
We are committed to the promotion of rights, choice, independence and inclusion. Individuals engage in a range of activities of their choice, designed to meet their specific developmental needs. These activities take place either onsite in the centre premises or offsite through community access, lifestyle support, outreach services or employment support.
Our aim is to enable each person to optimise their potential to live as independently as possible. A variety of activities take place in the centre, including literacy and numeracy, dance movement, art, crafts, cognitive skills, gardening, cooking, sensory sessions and music sessions facilitated by professional musicians.
Support is available seven days a week and transport to and from the centre can be provided if required.
We make use of local community facilities each day, such as a swimming pool, parks, pubs, clubs and shops, as well as going further afield on day trips to facilities in and around greater London.
The centre is located in a quiet residential area of Isleworth close to Hounslow and Brentford with excellent public transport links and is housed in an attractive building set on one level and fully accessible to wheelchair users.
We also have a computer room with internet access.
