Hamlet close is a detached, supported living house that can cater for up to five people with a wide range of complex needs such as brain injuries, learning and physical disabilities and mental health problems, as well as specialising in PEG feeding technique. We can also support autistic people.
Support is person-centred and staff encourage individuals to be independent and to succeed in whatever they wish to achieve. The people we support are encouraged to take part in a wide range of activities, both within our home and in the wider community.
Our home is located in Huntingdon, a picturesque market town in Cambridgeshire and is just a short walk from a range of shopping and leisure facilities.
There are good transport links into London which offers more opportunities for day trips and recreational activities.
Hamlet close has four spacious bedrooms on the first floor and one ground floor bedroom, all of which can be adapted to meet individuals’ needs. There is one communal bathroom on the first floor and a communal shower room on the ground floor. Communal areas are large and there an enclosed rear garden means residents can enjoy private and safe outdoor living. At the front of the property, there is also a large gravelled drive providing parking for up to six cars.
