Grafton House is a supported living facility for up to eight with a range of disabilities including learning, physical and sensory disabilities as well as supporting those with mental health conditions.
Grafton House is designed to give the people we support a level of independence whilst receiving appropriate care for their needs when required.
Our home is located in Stoke-on-Trent in Staffordshire and is just a short walk from Longton town centre which has plenty of local amenities for residents to enjoy. There are a number of public transport options nearby which provides a wealth of opportunity for day trips. Grafton also has access to two vehicles which are used to offer residents greater choice when accessing the community and social activities.
Grafton House is a single storey building housing eight individual flats. Each flat has a kitchen, a spacious lounge and bedroom with en-suite bathroom. The flats have been adapted for safety and comfort, providing underfloor heating, non -slip flooring in the bathrooms and lockable closets in the entrance hall. There is a secure shared garden area which is accessible via the main building and a communal lounge for socialising with other residents.
Our staff are experts in providing care and support that best meets the needs of each individual, using a person centred approach to ensure the people we support feel valued and understood. Staff at Grafton House undertake rigorous training to ensure each member is up to date on current legislation and best-practice.
