Chestnut House is service that provides support to those with physical disabilities and learning disabilities. The service caters for three individuals whom are located in their own individual flats within one building.
Chestnut House is located within walking distance from Rugeley town centre with easy access to other surrounding towns. Rugeley town has a variety of supermarkets and food outlets for service users to access as well as a local swimming pool that as suitable access for disabilities.
Chestnut House is a large bungalow with three individual flats and a cosy communal room allowing all tenants to relax and feel at home. The bungalow has wide corridors allowing easy access for wheelchair users.
Each flat has a kitchen, lounge, wet room and bedroom, allowing each tenant to have their own space to relax and make their own. Additionally each flat has access to the garden located at the back of the property.
The garden allows individuals to socialise in the sun surrounded by trees and flowers.
Our staff at chestnut offers a high level off support and work closely with each individual ensuring that they feel safe and supported within the service. Staff respect the dignity and privacy of each individual whilst working with them on a one to one basis. Our service is catered to each tenant’s individuality and ensuring they live in a safe environment.
Staff offer one to one support and due to physical needs they support tenants with all personal care aspects and ensure that each individual is treated with a high level of dignity and respect.
