We are delighted to share our first annual Quality Account, which demonstrates to the people we support, families and other stakeholders the importance placed on quality within Voyage Care. It provides an overview of how we have performed against our key quality and operational priorities over the last year, sets out plans to improve further and identifies our priorities for 2018-19.

Amanda Griffiths, Director of Quality, said,

“Publishing our first Quality Account is an important milestone for Voyage Care. We are proud to share our achievements as well as being open and transparent about where we can – and will – do better.

“As one of the largest providers in the adult social care sector, we’re proud to lead the learning disability sector in terms of quality. With 95% of our services rated Good or Outstanding, we are 10% ahead of the national average.

“However, while we have more Good and Outstanding services than any other provider in adult social care, even one care home requiring improvement is one too many. We continuously strive to improve quality across all our services and recently introduced a toolkit to support services aspiring to become Outstanding.

“We are never complacent. There are always new things to learn and new ways of improving outcomes for the people we support. The Quality Account reflects lots of different processes, all with one common theme – our sole driver is that the people we support always get the very best care and support.”
