Season two of Voyage Care Voice is coming soon!

After a successful pilot season of Voyage Care’s first ever podcast, we are excited to announce that it’s back for season two! Renamed as Voyage Care Voice, to reflect those sharing their thoughts, this time it’s even bigger and better.

As you’ll remember from season one, the podcast focused on facilitating important discussions about topics in the sector. These topics are discussed in a conversational manner with those working in relevant roles. The free podcast aims to share real insights from real people in health and social care.

Having covered person-centred care during the pilot, season two will tackle all things quality in the sector. Launching at the beginning of October, each weekly episode will be released on a Wednesday – perfect for a lunchtime listen with a cup of tea!

Over the course of 11 bitesize episodes, each up to 20 minutes long, topics covered will include what quality care is, how the pandemic has impacted quality, inspections and, of course, improving outcomes for vulnerable people.

Guests on the podcast include service managers, support workers, a family member and more. It will also feature a guest speaker from the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

Amanda Griffiths, Director of Quality at Voyage Care, commented, ‘We are so excited for the release of the second season of our podcast. It’s never been more important to discuss issues affecting those in sector.

‘We had a brilliant response to our first season, which achieved over 1400 listens, so we’ve made sure this season is even bigger and better. I hope listeners will enjoy hearing the discussions as much as we enjoyed having them!’

You can listen to the podcast through our website, Podbean and Spotify. To find out more about Voyage Care Voice, launching on the 6th October 2021, please visit: www.voyagecare.com/podcast.
