Supporting you
Our aims are to provide a warm, welcoming and open environment and to enable each resident to live their lives to the fullest, learning and developing new skills and experiencing new opportunities.
We pride ourselves on enabling choice and treating each person as an individual and apply a person-centred approach to all aspects of support to ensure that each resident can live as independently as possible.
We offer the people we support the opportunity to attend local colleges and voluntary groups and are getting involve in local events.
The team
Our staff provide 24 hour care and support. They support each resident to develop their feelings and emotions in a positive way in order to achieve their goals and aspirations and become more independent.
This is carried out with the support of a range of external medical professionals, occupational therapists, psychologists and psychiatrists, as well as family friends and advocates.
Facilities
Our home is a Victorian house. All of the bedrooms have ensuite facilities and can be adapted and personalised according to individual needs and tastes.
There are spacious shared areas, including two lounges, two dining area and a kitchen, which is available for everyone to use with supervision and support. All rooms are tastefully decorated and maintained to a very high standard. The home is set in mature gardens with a vegetable patch and lawn. We are able to make adaptations to meet the needs of individuals and the ground floor, which includes some bedrooms, is accessible for wheelchair users.
