We asked Aneil and Malcolm what they wished for this Christmas, here is what they said:
Malcolm – Woolston Road, Southampton
“I would like a white Range Rover for Christmas, this would mean that I would be able to drive myself around to places where I want to go without needing staff to be with me. I would also have my own keys to the Range Rover!”
Malcolm often excitedly points out a Range Rover that he drives by each week, meaning his Christmas wish has come as no surprise to staff!
Aneil – Redbank House, Nottinghamshire
“I have Prader-Willi syndrome so I would like to raise a lot of money for the Prader-Willi Syndrome Association, to help them fund finding a cure. I would also like to help others who have the syndrome to find a happier healthier way to live.
I would like to watch a live Manchester United match as they are my number one team. Finally, I would like to have enough money to travel the world and experience different cultures.”
Timid to transformed – Elliots Prader-Willi story
Elliot, who has Prader-Willi syndrome, had a trouble past before moving to his Voyage Care home. Extremely over weight, shy and suffering with his mental health, Elliot was hospitalised for over two years. Four years on, thanks for his support team, Elliot’s life has took a turn for the better.
