Molly from The Drove in Salisbury is busy in the kitchen all year round and Christmas is no different. Both Molly’s family and her housemates at The Drove can expect to enjoy some festive treats this year.
“My favourite thing about Christmas in my family is that there is no tradition. We’ve even cooked Mexican food in the garden on Christmas Day before. But every Boxing Day we have a buffet where everyone brings something to the table. My favourite Boxing Day bake is my Swedish Gingerbread biscuits.”
Molly cooks a whopping 60 biscuits for her family to enjoy, she likes to do both heart and star shapes.
If you have been a bit too indulgent during the festive season, Molly says they also make a great Christmas tree decoration!
Molly’s top tip:
“If you think you are rolling too thin – you aren’t. The thinner you roll, the crunchier the biscuit.”
