I think we can all agree that one of the best things about Christmas is playing games. We sent out some game ideas in our Christmas toolkit back in November and wanted to see how our services were getting involved. The Zest team headed to Marner House, Nuneaton for an afternoon of festive Bingo!
The room was warm and cosy, with lots of different games already laid out. “My favourite game is chess. I am not very good but I like it,” said Darren.
Everyone loved the idea of Bingo with a Christmas twist, so sat down together for the chance to win some chocolate! Our first winner was Dave who was very pleased as he likes to win. Next to shout Bingo was Craig; “My favourite chocolates are the Maltesers.” Luckily Dave was happy to swap his.
Paul didn’t fancy joining in with the others but was more than happy to play Scrabble. Darren was quick to share his winnings with Paul so he didn’t miss out on a sweet treat.
If you want to have a game of Bingo yourself, you can download our Christmas toolkit here.

Tom is one of the people we support at Voyage (DCA) Somerset & Devon who lives in a supported living bungalow. After a year in his new supported living home Tom wanted to tell us about his journey with Voyage Care in his own words. He shares with us all of the wonderful things he’s gotten up to over the past 12 months and highlights the achievements and progress he’s made.
