How we train our staff to support you

At Voyage Care, we make it a priority to ensure that all staff have the necessary skills to provide the best-quality care for the people we support.

Our Prader-Willi syndrome awareness training is delivered by experts with a wealth of experience of the rare syndrome and equips the staff in our specialist services with the confidence and understanding required to suppport those living with Prader-Willi syndrome.

The training is based on person-centred care following best practice guidelines and each support team has an oversight support from:

  • Our experienced managers and peers
  • Our Prader-Willi syndrome professionals group – a forum for sharing best practice and reviewing outcomes
  • Prader-Willi Syndrome Association - accessing specialist training, breakthrough research and industry insight
