Our Brookfields home in Oldbury celebrated its 21st birthday in style, with a special party for six people with learning and physical disabilities, their support staff, friends and families.
The 50 guests at Brookfields’ milestone celebration enjoyed entertainments including a singer, buffet and refreshments.
Two of the original residents, Robert and Michael – who have lived at Brookfields since it first opened its doors – attended the celebrations.
Service manager Kevin Kerr said: “Brookfields has been providing excellent care to the people we support for 21 years so this year’s double celebration was extra special. It was a wonderful opportunity for the people we support and our teams to get together and enjoy themselves.”
Brookfields is a friendly, fun and optimistic home. An activities co-ordinator arranges a wide range of activities and ensures that people can pursue their hobbies, skills and interests. This special celebration is the latest in a range of activities which have included Red Nose Day events, Halloween parties and more.
