Oaklands is a detached residential care home, located in Berkshire, where we support up to six people with learning disabilities, autism and epilepsy.
Facilities
Our home has spacious communal areas, including a large open plan lounge and dining room. Theses communal areas are decorated with pictures of day trips and holidays that people who live here have enjoyed. Our large garden is surrounded by trees and includes a summer house for the people we support to enjoy. In the summer, we enjoy playing football and skittles and having barbecues in the garden. We’re also working on creating a sensory garden!
Oaklands has six bedrooms, with three located on the ground floor and a further three bedrooms upstairs. The people we support are encouraged to personalise their bedrooms with colours of their choosing, personal pictures and other personal items.
Our vacancies
We currently have one vacant room at Oaklands, which is located on the first floor with a shared wet room, which includes a shower and a bath. This vacancy would be ideal for somebody looking for a calm and relaxed home, where they can take part in activities such as film nights and arts and crafts.
