We support five people at Anro House who have a learning disability and associated complex needs which may include challenging behaviours, alcohol addiction and enduring mental health needs.
Supporting you
Residents are encouraged to be independent and included in all aspects of their home. They are supported to develop a wide variety of skills including budget management, cooking, independent travel and health and safety within the home. Each person has a support worker of their choice who they can have regular one to one meetings with, as well as group house meetings where everyone gets the chance to air their views and be listened to.
Facilities
Our home has five bedrooms, a large lounge, dining room and a kitchen.
The team
The manager is a qualified registered learning disability nurse with many years’ experience in care and support. She is also part of the Voyage Care training department, providing training in diabetes and epilepsy management.
She has her registered manager award and has just achieved a level 6 module in a teaching and mentorship degree. Our staff are very passionate about supporting people to achieve their individual goals and bring a good mix of skills and experience, including some who have achieved NVQ awards. They are always eager to learn new skills.
